Policies
Deposits and Payments
An advance deposit of 50% is required to secure your reservation and must reach us within seven days after the reservation is made. The reservation balance is due upon arrival. You are financially responsible for the entire period of your reservation.
Checks are preferred for advance deposits. Discover, Visa & Mastercard accepted.
A 5.5% State & County sales tax and 8% Door County room tax will be added to all charges.
Rates subject to change without notice.
Rollaways $10.00/night. Cribs $10.00/night.
All rates listed on our website are for two person stay maximum. For each additional adult $25.00 / night and $15.00 / night for each child under 18.
Cancellations and Date Changes
To obtain a deposit refund you must notify us 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival. If you must cancel less than the required number of days prior to arrival, do not expect a refund. There is a $50.00 office charge per accommodation cancelled. If a reservation is changed after arrival, you will be expected to pay in full for the original reservation. Do not expect a refund.
Bringing a Pet
Dogs are the only type of pet allowed on the property and must be on our allowed breeds list and approved by us before they arrive. We must be notified in advance of any pets, no exceptions. Dogs must be at least one year old and leashed while on the property. Dogs cannot be left in rooms unattended while staying at The Shallows Resort. Rules and charges apply. $50 per night per dog, maximum of 2 allowed. Please call for any bookings that request a dog to stay.
General Information
All of our accommodations are non-smoking per State Statute. Smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking area.
Check-in time is 3:00 PM.
Check-out time is 11:00 AM in the Motel and 10:00 AM for all other units.
