We are excited to welcome you back to our resort!
When you arrive you will see the added precautions we are taking to ensure a safe visit for all our guests this season. We offer a wide variety of accommodations, including charming Wisconsin cottages and luxury rental homes. There is plenty of outdoor space to social distance, while relaxing and enjoying the natural wonders of Door County.
Our employees wear masks and other Personal Protective Equipment
From our cleaning crew to our front desk personnel, we will all be wearing masks. We hope you will, too, when around other guests. We are following all Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations and are taking extra steps to disinfect guest rooms, surfaces, and common areas to make sure you are safe.
Outdoor Hallways and Entrances
Every Shallows accommodation has its own outdoor entrance. The majority of our rooms have sliding glass doors leading outside and semi-private, outdoor balconies. At The Shallows Resort, you never have to walk in an enclosed hallway and encounter other guests.
Individual Ventilation
Each unit has its own heating and air conditioning system that is not shared with any other room or public space.
Over three acres of open space plus the bay to enjoy nature
Our resort has plenty of open space to allow you to relax outside while maintaining recommended social distance. You are welcome to use one of our complimentary bicycles, canoes or kayaks to explore the beautiful surroundings.

With two bonfire areas and ample seating, it’s easier to social distance. We supply the wood. You bring the s’mores.
Private Homes and Cottages
For the maximum privacy and comfort reserve one of our private homes or cottages located away from the main resort grounds. No matter which Shallows home-away-from-home you choose for your Door County vacation, all of our guests have full access to the abundant amenities The Shallows Resort has to offer.
